What was most enjoyable in your journey of volunteering?

My student's commitments and responses. Teaching her is one of my best life experiences so far.

This is a very fulfilling role for me as I know that the commitment required on my end is minimal, but the impact which translates on my student's life would be huge. I would say that I often feel elated whenever I feel that my student has become comfortable around me by sharing with me about things on a more personal end, as well as when my student showed interest in learning. That motivates me to provide a better lesson for her in the future too.

Cikgu semua terbaik, saya suka dan menarik minat saya setiap kali ada kelas. Kerana sebelum ini saya tidak berminat. Tapi cikgu telah buat saya jadi seronok.

My son is now more confident to read in English. Through the reading session, it helps me as well to translate many unfamiliar words such as throne, sue, quail, starfish. I have learned a lot from the teachers in using the correct pronunciation in English. Thank you, teachers.
